1 SBD for 1 MATH Problem

Total Global Debt 59.7 Trillion

Divided by 21 Million Bitcoins = 2842857.142857143 < -- Is this correct?

If there were only 1 million bitcoins left, and all Global debt was sucked into the blockchain, how much would 1BTC be worth?

Best answer gets 1SBD.

Runners up might get something too.

Are you saying total Global debt into the remaining 1 million bitcoin?
My answer is $59,699,997

If the total supply turns into a max of 1 million Bitcoins (because the other 20 million got lost? presumably?) and he total global debt is the same as the value of all remaining Bitcoins then the answer is approximately $59.777.777,77 each. Is that what you were asking?

And yes $2842857,14 is correct.
But why would all debt be sucked into the blockchain?
Maybe you are wondering what would happen if all the money in the world goes into Bitcoin?

More than you can imagine.
simple as that

Nice post

59.7 trillion dollars in 1 million BTC. Ok, which system do you... ? Trillion has 18 zeros? Why the hell ... Trillion is supposed to have 24 zeros - 1 000 000^3 (That is why the word trillion starts with TRI). Your mathematic system is not logical, please, convert yourself, pleease.

There are some people which are not going to sell bitcoin no matter what and just few people will sell theirs bitcoins for the latest price. So if 57 trillion was sucked up to the bitcoin blockchain (with 1M BTC) the price will be much more than 57 million. I would say, bitcoin would easily hit 570 million after this situation. So that is a good illusion. Only new 57 trillion into the system would make the market cap (total number of btc × price) of btc to 570 trillion.
That is proof that market cap means nothing. And if you would like to sell all these bitcoins, you would get much more less than 570 trillion. If you are lucky, it would be about 57 trillion.

Sorry, 59.7* xD

Well the answer should be about 59.7 million, but the point presented by @samotonakatoshi is very valid, first off what is called a billion in the US is not a billion in other parts, a billion would be 1 million * 1 million, and likewise for a trillion, 1 billion*1 billion, in some other parts they just add six zeroes to a million to make a billion and 6 zeroes to a billion to make a trillion etc. in the English speaking countries they add three zeroes . In spanish we have a word "millardo" which represents what in the US is a billion. So I guess you have to take your pick, and at least in this respect mathematics is not exact.

BTC will be so high that it exceeds my brain's computation power ;-)
