That is how governments want to control people... They tell you that a cashless society is safer and try to scare you into accepting that. They use all kinds of fucking sneaky tactics to achieve their goal of seeing each and every transaction we make. In Denmark, where I live, this is becoming an issue. They are really pushing this cashless thing badly and they want to do it gradually over the next few years. Already there are loads of places that only take card or mobile pay (offered by Danske Bank). This should be scary but "sheeple" accept that this is the new norm without asking any questions. It is for their convenience and protection after all...right? Kinda like the mass surveillance issue about which some say they have nothing to worry about as they aren't involved in anything dodgy. What a silly answer... what the fuck is wrong with good old fashioned privacy? PS: Sorry about the rant! :)
