Hi everyone first off I want to say I've been reselling items for almost 20 years online and reselling pretty much my whole life since middle school selling candy to other kids and I'm now 37 years old. Some call me a natural born hustler, hey what can I say I love it and truly enjoy bringing a smile on people's face.

Today I'm going to introduce you to a very powerful tool that not to many people know about or use correctly even if they do. This tool can be used by anyone looking for great deals regardless if you plan to resell the items or not.

Alright to jump right in I use a site called www.brickseek.com . I've explained this site to a lot of friends locally and they love it. None of them were re-sellers but now they flip a few things a week on eBay and make some extra cash which most people can use nowadays. I'm not affiliated with Brickseek nor do I receive any type of benefit from them if you sign up, a few of my friends said I should send them a bill for promoting them lol.

You can use Brickseek for free but I would highly recommend upgrading to the $9.99 monthly plan since this will give you access to the main features needed to save the big bucks! In a nutshell what brickseek does is they check the prices on items at Walmart & Target and when ever there's a price decrease they report on their site. Price decreases usually are from items going on clearance. Now the beauty of this site is that when an item goes on clearance at Walmart one of their workers has to go out and find the item so they can either bring it to the back or move it to a clearance section and add the clearance stickers with the lowered price. Brickseek will give you this information before the workers even know about it. I've picked up items on clearance while the item was still on the shelve but it rang up at the clearance price!

There are 2 main ways I use Brickseek that I found to be the easiest and fastest way to find the deals. The first way is to go to the member's area and click on local deals and select Walmart or Target I usually find the best deals at Walmart. Once you're here a list of all your local Walmarts will show up starting with the closest one based on your zip code. I've found that certain Walmarts tend to discount more than others. Click on view store markdowns I just keep the default settings don't check in stock items only. Now once here you can view all the markdowns at that store. The reason I said not to check in stock items only is just because an item is out of stock at that store it may be in stock at another store. Once you find an item you're interested in just click on check inventory and then search. This will bring up all the stores around you based on your zip code and also show you the amounts in stock and the price at the store.

The second way I use Brickseek to find deals is by going to the member's area and checking the Today's Price Drops which shows a list of the price drops through out the country along with the lowest price. Again once you find an item you're interested in just click on check inventory and then search. This will bring up all the stores around you based on your zip code and also show you the amounts in stock and the price at the store.

Pro Tip- A lot of times higher end items like Laptops and TV's that have extreme markdowns will not be on the sales floor. Most Walmart workers are pretty cool I usually will just ask if they can look up an item for me based on the upc code which can be found on the brickseek page for the item you just looked up. Sometimes workers will automatically blow you off and say it's clearanced and not available. At this point you still have a few options. You can go to the customer service desk and ask a rep to look it up for you or ask the rep if they can check the back. Also just because it says a item is in stock it may not be the case. What ever you do be polite and don't argue with them! Brickseek is not affiliated with Walmart.

Here is a really nice laptop I just got using Brickseek for just $115 this same laptop sold for over $400 on eBay at the time of me writing this can you say Cha-Ching!! I'm keeping the laptop btw lol.

I enjoyed the post. I had used the free version of brickseek a few times but this helped me decide to go for the paid version. Definitely worth it. I found several items that I've already resold at a tidy profit that I never would have known to look for without it.

I would definitely be interested in some more re-seller secrets.

thanks :)
