Richest 1% of the world will own 2/3 of the wealth in the world by 2030

in #money7 years ago

The world's richest 1% has been gathering wealth twice as fast compared to us rest 99% during the last ten years
of time. Should this go on, it is expected that by 2030 the same group will own about 2/3 of all the wealth in the
whole world. While an estimate, it does speak for itself. This massive centralization of wealth brings its own problems.
Just imagine how uneven this situation is. It goes without saying, that should it continue like this, there will be
more and more struggle over less money. It also means that while more and more people strive to improve their standard of living, more are left without that possibility. Combine that with the fact that population of the world keeps increasing at a fast pace and pretend not to understand the social unrest and uncertainty that all of this could cause.

Not only that, the economic crisis of 2008 made it possible for the richest 1% to gain money even faster. This
could only mean that while economic crises affect millions of people, their jobs and future as well, it is a perfect
opportunity to further add to your existing pile, if you're in that 1% that is. Not to say that other people could not
benefit from the same situation in any way, but this doesn't change the fact that billions of people don't have what
it takes to effectively take advantage of changing situations.

The biggest eye opener how ever is yet to come: did you know that the eight richest persons in the world own more than 3,6 billion people? And that is something that continues to baffle me.antique-black-and-white-clock-210590.jpg

Should these things be changed? Should world become better to us all? Is crypto the answer to end this cycle?
