I posted my first blog today and I finally experienced the power of Steemit first hand. I got an up vote worth over $8. I think the blog is a little over $9 right now. As far as I'm concerned, $9 is better than 1000 likes. All the legacy social media platforms seem ridiculous now. I would much rather post here than facebook, instagram, snapchat etc...
Cheers to a new paradigm of regular users getting paid on social media.
Once this is realized by the masses, there will be chaos!

Awesome! Vote and discuss will get you in position for some opportunities. I see people replying to a post and getting rewards of 500-600 bucks!
