I spent recently a great deal amount of time to find the most common threads of highly successful people. I see the same marks in your advice.

You mentioned luck and this is exactly what I was thinking. If I want to throw a bunch of double 6 I have to throw the dice a couple of times.

Maybe if there is a certain trick involved which can increase the odds of getting it right more often I am only able to learn it if I am persistently trying and also keeping my eye open to catch the clues.

What I was lacking until recently is the patient persistence on certain opportunities until I succeed.

Your post made my decision even firmer to keep trying.
