What if I told you Mondays aren't as bad as people make them. A good number of people are upset at the thought of going back to their boring work desks or classrooms for boring lectures. So generally Sunday evenings are mostly grumpy for such people because of the thought of work the next day.
As opposed to popular belief, I see Mondays as a fresh start, being the first working day of the week. We all have those things on our bucket lists that we set out to accomplish, be it one of many steps to attaining a goal or an impending task. And in some cases, these set goals weren't attained.
That said, Mondays come with new hopes, zeal and strength to carry on. It give us another shot at our dreams and aspirations, another chance to try and strive. It might not sound like much, but its a big deal if you think of it. Doesn't matter if we're winning or losing, important thing is that we're trying something. No doubt, the groove and chills of the weekend are very much craved and needed, it creates a sort of balancing in the equation; we clearly can't work all the time. All I'm painting here is a change of attitude towards Monday. Best to face it with expectations, optimism and hope.
Someday if we work hard enough, we'd wake up by 11am on a Monday morning and not even remember it's a Monday, with breakfast already waiting for you, your expensive cloths dry cleaned, and a hardworking secretary who has handled schedules and reservations for the day. All the big guns started somewhere y'know. Let's hustel and work hard, motivate yourselves, and embrace Mondays!
#ps Monday looks aren't all bad 😁😀
