Most of us run it. The race drives us. Daily routines set the pace. Measuring ourselves against ourselves allows us the illusion of progress. When do we learn this? How young do children join in?
Personal obligations keep us running! This is a great thing. Personal momentum keeps the world spinning.
The Grind keeps wearing on us. Mix in age, and few retain their youthful beauty. Losing beauty is a problem for some. For those of us who never had beauty, this seems to be a personal problem: Truely an SEP. (somebody else's problem)
Nevertheless, we race on. The best trick I've found to ignore the age thing is to produce value. Regardless of fame or fortune, value brings meaning to the race.
Tonight's tune is a tribute to those who remain in the race!
Great! Sir, race on!
Appreciate what you do doc, I live a pretty fast pace life, and I truly appreciate the articles, they make me slow down and think. Kinda like a cloud clearing, or better yet the freeing of the mind. Thanks buddy.
Great words of wisdom in your post... You'll be finding great value in one of my latest posts, titled...

I slowed down today. Went to a Korean bath house for women only. I spent two hours going back and forth between the dry hot sauna and the cold pool. It was delightful and relaxing. How was your day @doctorjohn ? Aloha!

I also just wrote a post about the rat race. It's all consuming and killing us slowly. Thank you for your post - this topic is too important!
