Back in Clash of Moland: S24

Time flies fast. It's been half a year since I stopped posting on Hive. There was no particular reason, just a lack of time, and since I didn't have time for the games either, I wasn't active here either.

This changed at the beginning of the summer, but until now I did not intend to continue.

Clash of Moland. One of my favorite NFT game, even if it's not the highest paying.

I've played it sometimes in the last six months, since I didn't have a chance to play actively during the 28-day seasons, so it was just fun.

However, I managed to get very negligible amounts on the LBs of the seasons. At least so much came together that I was able to try out MEC staking yesterday. MEC can be stacked separately for 5 in-game items.

Earlier, right, I came to the conclusion that MEC staking would make the most progress on LBs.

For MEC staking, you can get 5 different in-game items. For each of them, exponentially more MEC must be staked in order to achieve a higher reward.

Among them are the Master Drawing and the Legendary Summon Scroll, which is a really good thing. Master Drawing is needed for higher level building improvements (so it will give you a lot of extra points on prosperity LB). The other one is important for getting Legendary Hero cards. (I've played 6 seasons and only have 2 of these cards.)

Seeing how it works, I bought MBOX tokens for a few dollars and converted them to MEC in the game.

After that, as a test, I staked MEC for several items. Since there are 12.5 days left in this season and I only started playing 1 week ago, I don't expect any major results, but I will be fully ready for the next season.

According to my preliminary calculations, approx. I will get 45 Master Drawings and 11 Legendary Summon Scrolls. (This way, if the variance doesn't make fun of me, I would have to get 2 Legendary Heroes. Just as many as I currently have.)

Otherwise, many people are no longer actively playing the game, so progress is even more possible. I looked back at my Hive posts. In S17, I was ranked 517 with 210k prosperity points. In the previous S23, the same score would have resulted in 430 instead.

Of course, the total reward pool of the season is decreasing, this can also play a role, in addition to the general crypto situation. S17: 65k MBOX S24: 53k MBOX

So the few dollars I spent on the game will probably pay off.

I plan to write 1-1 posts per week about each game I actively play again, so we will see.
