I can still remember doing our "simbang gabi" or early morning mass during the Christmas season. We started on 16 December until 25 December, I believe. Built in the late 19th century, this church had so many stories to tell and has been a refuge of our Catholic brothers and sisters for 2 centuries now. The Catholic Church in Bacolod has a great influence on the cities progress and development, giving support to the local government and serving its members with their spiritual needs. Today, the San Sebastian Catholic Church still stands as a symbol of faith and strength to its beliefs.
