DJ Putting His Foot Down, Demands A Guaranteed Big Pay-Day

DJ Has agreed to fight Dillashaw, but on his own terms. Which honestly I think he deserves. He's saying he would like to fight Dillashaw on a stacked card even if they are not the main event, saying he deserves a big pay-day. DJ, although being the longest reigning champion in terms of title defenses, has never enjoyed a portion of the PPV buys.

His suggestion is to fight on a card with Cyborg vs Nunes and GSP vs Woodley. Sound like big demands, but this guy deserves it. He makes so little money compared to other fighters. He's not a big draw, but he deserves the pay-day just because he's been such an excellent champion. If the UFC were promoting him more he would definitely be a bigger draw. When he was tying the record the UFC barely mentioned it... Then they go off and complain he's not a big draw.

I think they may be stacking names for July, although the last three "International Fight-Week" events had fights fall apart, they may have noticed the trend and are looking to build one super card that is still good even if some matches fall apart.

DJ and TJ are very reliable though, so I think you have a point.
