Songs' lyrics can often and easily be misunderstood. I had many and very funny examples about that. For example - "Sending out an SOS" - some Hungarians mean that "Szentmihályon Tesco lesz!" ("A Tesco store will be built in Szentmihály" - where Szentmihály is a Hungarian village). I was laughing at this for weeks! 😃
Once i also had a big-big misunderstanding. I had to call paypal (of course in English), and they asked me "When did you last use paypal?" The last two words i heard as "newspaper" and i replied: i never read newspapers!" then he asked me again and at last i understood the question and replied: "long ago", struggling with laughing.
