Miss Venezuela, too "old"?

My country Venezuela, is currently experiencing one of the most difficult economic crises in Latin American history, however, a few days ago the Miss Venezuela elected last year was news.

Veruska Ljubisavljević was chosen to represent Venezuela in the Miss World contest to be held next December 2018. This year there was a change of directive and the new authorities decided that Veruska was too "old" to go to the Miss World contest, to be 27 years old.

The Miss filed a lawsuit against the Miss Venezuzela organization and won the same. She will go to the Miss World contest.
When is it stopped being "Miss" in order to participate in a beauty contest?
At what age do women become "older" according to this type of contest?
What do you think?
In a country in crisis like Venezuela, we still have time to discuss the eternal canon of youth and beauty.
