Welcome to Qurator's Mischievous Mondays!
This will be a weekly competition that we will be hosting every Monday. We want to see a little more engagement and fun when it comes to some of our competitions so this will be a simpler and shorter competition. Easy to enter, but maybe not so easy to win. ;) This competition will be similar to the Monday Missions we had a long time ago, but instead of writing posts to enter we will now consider only the comments and answers on this blog as your entry to win.
Why Mischievous?
We all could use a little fun in our lives. We would even say that we deserve it, let loose a little and have a go at making everyone laugh or think a little, even if it is a little over the top or pure silliness. Go all out and let your creative juices flow.
This week's theme : If you could be any kind of fish...
If you could be any kind of fish, what kind of fish would you be. Perhaps all fish have their pros and cons so think about it carefully. Bonus points for pictures of the fish.
RULES
Write a comment in this post, your comment will be your entry.
Only comments that fit the theme and style.
It has to be done by you, no plagiarism.
All entries will be reviewed by the Qurator team.
Only one entry per account.
Deadline: By the end of Friday
Your entry will not count if you aren't following the above-mentioned rules.
Last week's theme : Song Title for your Monday Mood
Monday's aren't for everyone as some love them and some hate them. Use a title of a song to describe your Monday Mood. Any song goes!

Hello,
I think it would be a salmon.
The reason is that I was born near a river as salmon are born.
Then my parents moved to live near the sea. The sea is the environment where salmon live most of their lives.
Eventually, salmon usually return to the same river where they were born to spawn and finally die. I hope this tragic end does not befall him like the salmon.
And I don't end up grilled like these tasty salmon slices I ate recently.
Thank you!!
It would definitely be a shark, it would be near the top of the food chain, and it would have a very good chance of surviving any mass extinction.
Cheers!
That's a shark's mind 😁 @jorgebgt
If I were a fish I would be a male Angler fish.
Why specifically a male one you might ask. Well, the answer is in their life cycle. Once we get "big enough", and the big is not very big mind you. Not compared to the ladies. Once we are big enough all we really would think about is finding a nice big lady to bite onto.
Wait, what, bite on to? Yes, bite on to. And then slowly over time merge our bodies with hers leaving only the gonads as my last remaining identifiable part, or balls for you french people out there. The rest of me would then be joined forever into here. Along for the ride, not ginging any more car in the world. My mission now complete with providing the lady with "sauce" and minimizing my effort as well while maximizing the enjoyment. No matter how rarely one would be used, basically only being gonads would ensure ecstasy levels of enjoyment. At least that is the theory.
And for bonus cool, being merged like this also creates a very real chimera. Which is like insane levels of cool all on its own.
Greetings @qurator and to all of you who come weekly to participate, I am here to share with you again.
When I read the question the first thing I thought was I would like to be a dolphin then came the doubt, is the dolphin a fish? 🤔 It turns out that no 😱, the dolphin is a mammal because it keeps its body temperature constant at 37 degrees and breathes with lungs apart from that they also breastfeed their young with milk secreted by their mammary glands, so knowing that I had to think of another option.
I decided to be a clown fish, and the reason is because besides being beautiful, they are not eaten by humans, since it has not been proven that they are free of toxins and as a plus they are very intelligent, curious, and can change sex whenever they want he, he, he, he, as long as there are no females in a group of males, or vice versa. I love their adaptive capacity and I think I have some of their qualities, except the ability to change sex. 😆

hello, @qurator team greetings. if I would be a fish I will like to be small goldfish. Nice life with together in the family. As I know not included in the food chain. A very popular fish among children. People like them and keep them safe in their aquarium in the living room, everybody takes care of it.
thanks for the second prize. congratulations to the other participants. now on to life as a fish...
I wants to be a goldfish that lives in someone's pond like that is cared for every day and fed regularly and I make the people who care for me happy every day and I will have many children with my employer
If I could be a FISH. I would be a catfish.
You can’t imagine a world without fishes. Imagine our meals without fishes. What if I am a catfish? I would put three things into consideration
Satisfaction: catfishes are very popular and easily reared too. Their breeds survive best especially in this part of the world here in Africa. Cat fishes are still among the best fishes saving the world.
Ease production: Ease of production is one thing that can fight against the scarcity of fishes and make its availability all around the world.
Nutrition: The nutritional value from catfish is so much amazing. And one thing I love to take in catfishes are the eggs.
If I were to be any type of fish, it'd definitely be an electric fish (But it'd be for a week or less though, because I definitely love life as a human, lol). I don't know much about it, but for the little I know, it sure sounds like a fun fish.
Despite being a small minority, electric fish comprise both freshwater and oceanic species of cartilaginous and bony fish.
Many specialized behaviors have evolved in electric fish. When hunting, the predatory African sharptooth catfish listens in on its weakly electric mormyrid prey to locate it, which causes the prey fish to create more robust electric signals. As a sort of Batesian mimicry to deter predators, bluntnose knifefishes emit an electric discharge pattern resembling the electrolocation pattern of the hazardous electric eel. African knifefish have convergently evolved a method that is substantially comparable to that used by glass knifefish to avoid jamming when they are using similar frequencies.
One important feature worthy of note is that, electric fish build their electric fields from an electric organ which I have read is made up of electrocytes, modified muscle or nerve cells, specialized for producing strong electric fields, used to locate prey, for defence against predators, and for signalling, such as in courtship.
The two types of electric organ discharges—pulse and wave—variate depending on the species and the function.
I mean, being provided with a natural defense system to fight off predators is a big flex. Imagine not knowing the feeling of being bullied or harassed or molested.
