The Minnow Support Project
The Minnow Support Project (MSP) is probably the most helpful project that helps Minnows. I’m checking their PAL (Peace Abundance Liberty) Discord server almost every day. They have other feature I’ve yet told discover.
Today, I would like to apply to their witness voting initiative. The application requires answering of three questions:
What are you pledging to do to support the Steemit Community?
One great point of the Steem blockchain is that if I make the community members, I’m also helping myself. I would like to use my skills (both in the technical side and the content creation side on the subject of gardening, worm farming and black soldier fly farming) to add value to the platform and hopefully altogether we can make the platform even more attractive to more users and move them away from the centralised giants. I also want to contribute to the cleanup of the content by helping with or creating tools that help with detection of plagiarists, spammers and scammers. It is a challenging project but I’ll do my best.
My recent project is Steemed Phish an anti-phishing browser extension for Chrome.
I've also contributed to help DTube by spinning up two IPFS nodes to pin videos for #teamaustralia, #teamnz and #vn tags. Dockerizing DTube Community Support for easier installation.
What are you pledging to do to support the Minnow Community?
Cryptocurrencies, blockchain, encryption etc... are such technical topics and many times I see people drowning in all the concepts and features. I’m my day job as a Senior Web Developer, I need to explain technical subjects to non technical people. I want to bring this skill here and try to explain to non-technical users the technical aspect of the platform.
Currently, each of my witness update also contains a “Learn with me” section where I explain one topic.
As I grow on the platform, I will invest part of my generated income to help the new comers so that they can, in turn, help others too.
What are you pledging to do to support the Minnow Support Project?
As my power grows, my contribution to MSP will evolve with me. I’m planning to first reach around 500SP before starting to delegate my SP to project such as the MSP. Currently, I want to promote the project to the Minnows but also make myself available on the Discord server for those who need help. I’m making my technical skills available to the team if they need me

My fingers are crossed for you too. I still don't know enough about the Witness program initiatives but your answers are straightforward and comes across sincere. Besides you're a Senior developer AND a Worm farmer, if that doesn't say multi-skilled, dynamic and earthy goodness, I'm not sure what does... XD
