PicsArt_01-23-06.26.45.pngLooking for a best place to visit in the Philippines? Aside from the Boracay with their amazing white sand beaches and Palawan with their underground River and other beautiful tourist destinations like Coron and El Nido Island. Why not consider putting Bohol in your bucket list!

Here’s some tourist destination that you should not miss when you consider visiting the place. There are many tourist attractions in Bohol but here are my suggestions if this is your first time visiting the place.

BACLAYON CHURCH

It is located 18km from Tagbilaran port at Baclayon, Bohol. The church was declared a National Historical Landmark by the National Commission of the Philippines and a National Cultural Treasure by the National Museum of the Philippines. It was partially damaged after it was hit by a magnitude of 7.2 earthquake back in 2013
2013 but was reopened in 2017. If you are a believer then this is one of the must to visit place for you around Bohol.

PHILIPPINE TARSIER SANCTUARY(Corella, bohol)

Bohol was also known with their popular Tarsiers. What makes it popular? Considering that it was an extinct species it was also called as the smallest primate that its size can be compared an inch smaller than an average adult men’s hand. Tarsiers are nocturnal they are often seen asleep in daylight. And please when you are visiting the place be careful and turn off your cameras flash so that you will not wake them up if they are sleeping.
