RE: How To Successfully Steem: Minnow Schooling, Offering Valuable Tips that Directly Influence Payouts.

I didn't know about the -trail and curie tags! I will definitely be adding those to my posts for a while. And how does one build relationships on Steem? Is it just the act of following/being followed, or is there something else I can do to meet more people?
Thank you for your posts! They are very helpful!

It is predominantly through providing valuable comments that strike up conversation and sharing of valuable information.
It was the single biggest mistake (that I am aware of ) that I made to date on Steemit. I didn't put as much effort into engaging with others as I should of. With 10 months of Steemit experience, I am sitting with 625 followers, 175 are dead, which leaves me with 451 true followers that are still active on Steemit.
If I had balanced my time in a different way and interacted with more Steemers along the way, I would have over 1,000 active followers by now. This ultimately translates into more Steemers who would be potentially interested in reading the content that I post.
My goal with this comment is to share what I have leaned about the system to date and help you to do things better than I did. Shared learning. :)
I have followed you and will continue to help where ever I can.

Thank you for the reply! I can tell I'm not engaging others as much as I should be. But all that's going to change. I appreciate your posts and your explanations of steemy things. They really help out!

Excellent @lenadr! I'm so glad to learn that you aren't going to make the same mistake(s) I have...it is very important to spend just as much time commenting and interacting with others on Steemit...just as much as it is to write your actual blog posts. ;)
