Spot on! Core strength is the foundation of a healthy body.
I often explain to clients that your 'core' is the corset that holds your organs and spine secure. Holding you upright and in place.
It's super important that people understand that if they feel any pain through their lower back while planking they are to stop immediately, this indicates there core is exhausted and has disengaged. I made a post about it here actually.

Also, I have heard of the forearm plank being called a 'dolphin plank' which suits pretty well haha.
