On behalf of all the newbies and not so new newbies, who will come across this post, I say THANK YOU!! I find this article to be very informative. There is definitely more to all this than what meets the eye. Your effort and time is much appreciated. I only recently started to upvote my own posts as an experiment just to see what the result would be. But not much effect as my SP is still low. With your information, I will now try the comment upvotes and see what happens. There is much to be learned and I am willing and open to learn. I dont really like the idea of upvoting my own stuff as I think it more meaningful to give what I have to others. But in restropect, there isnt any harm in testing the waters especially if it is something that will help me to help others in the long run.
