RE: @buildteam @thecryptodrive - are you ready?!

Good afternoon @berniesanders,

I'm commenting today after I got a message in discord. I am not here to take sides, because I don't fully understand what is going on, but wanted to leave instead my experience with the @minnowbooster services and what is going on in my mind.

I got approved for their white list, and they manually checked and read through my account beforehand. Limiting the slots I feel has a good and bad impact. In one sense, users that meet their quality standards are entrusted to be able to vote their post heavily to help get followers and gain visibility. However, I would imagine that some users would throw max votes at things that aren't at the quality for it. Minnowbooster in a way is trying to gain an edge over Steemians who want to have their own edge.

Being able to spend so much at a time, does support minnow booster better and allows it to grow faster, however, boosting announcement posts does seem greedy as this service is already well known and has exposure. I will say that although a couple of my posts had increased in value due to this, it isn't the use of voting services that helps my account the most.

I was super against using voting bots for a while, because one thing that I do believe is that buying large up votes and seeing the instant return makes users become more reliant on those kinds of services, and I even wrote a post that I felt like my post quality was dropping from depending on these votes so much.

I have faith in minnowbooster to turn it around, and not just vote their own posts when the rewards could go to the very people using their service. I don't want to see a Steemit where everyone becomes too dependent on buying votes, that users start to believe that it's the only way to succeed. I know I did for a while.

Just a red fish,
@shello

EDIT: MB didn't approve earthnation, but approved the main guy's account. I'm fucking over it.
