We want to stay true to our name and support "minnows". Requiring 5 SBD per vote is the opposite of empowering minnows. So while we are working on a solution that will fix this problem once and for all, we will do some temporary changes.
You can now send minimum 2 SBD up to 3 times per day (up to a total of 6 SBD). You can however send all 6 SBD at once. We have also amended the weekly limit to 20 SBD.
Please understand that Steem behaves weirdly in the low voting % areas and we may have to change these values on short notice.
We are recommending this browser addon which has a boost button added to every post you visit, immediately next to the promote button.

Yes, I guess we knew this from bit long time. I even made article (not good but yeah whatever) about this, minnowbooster gives better ROI at low value up votes hehe!
It is really tricky to navigate in the low % areas of steem voting. But we are working on a revolutionary system to solve this :)

@minnowbooster and @reggaemuffin 3SBD vote accrues 2.2% (e.g. 37m agominnowbooster (2.2%) upvote incredible-lucid-dream-with-apple-in-diner) vote which is $165x0.022=$3.63, if curation 25% is counted that is $2.9, that is a loss for user. Can you care to explain please?

I understand the policy, if it is to discourage to users to recover some VP thats fine.
However, I would appreciate the old 1SBD vote is restored. 5, 3 even 2 SBD is hard for minnows.

First time I went in the minus with minnowbooster. Paid$ 3 and got $3,18. For a long time I could pay $5 and get over $8!
But I suppose it was too good to last :)
All of these voting services start off great and get less and less worthwhile as they get more popular.
So is there still a bug in the vote calculations? The reply said it was 4.46, but it was only 3.87.
Nuttin' but love, still a profit, just wanted to hear as it factors in when 25% curation is coming out.

Thank you for making adjustments to accommodate minnows.
Despite what @reggaemuffin said about minnowbooster 1% vote is around 3.4$.
When I checked the minnowbooster latest upvotes I found that in actuality the 1% upvotes payouts were less than 2$ (which is a considerable loss for a minnow paying 2$)
Here is the screen-shot I took
The same goes for
** the 4% upvotes, which actually yields around 7.6$ but when I checked steemnow.com it should have been around 8.5$
and
** the 5% upvotes, which actually yields around 9.5$ but when I checked steemnow.com it should have been around 10.2$
Could you please address this issue!

Oh noooo, you misunderstood. our calculation is wrong, what the upgoat is saying is wrong.
The steem upvote worth calculation is not linear but we used something linear.
Steemnow.com is correct, we are not. You are not loosing value, it just looks that way.

Yes, steemnow.com is dependable. I can also recommend the browser extension that shows upvote worth. We will soon have fixed our calculations. It is only a display thing.

It does not work correctly I mean, I requested two 2sbd vote on two my posts:
According to the maths of 1.29 + 2.82 and 1.12 + 2.82 I should have 4.11 and 3.94 But I have 2.75 and 2.59, something wrong?

I had a problem with one of your upvotes @minnowbooster it paid less than it was supposed to, i have attached a screenshot below:
3SBD results in a $4.32 @ 54% vote power not the stated $4.72. If the possible 25% curation rewards are taken into account that means a net profit of 0.42SBD

Just now I got upvote for my post . In addition to that I got 23 votes from your team 😊 this is a big change .
But for minnows it will be a loss when it comes to payout . I sent $6 and I received $10 vote , a/c to math author will get max $7-$8 in that 1/2 will be rewarded as SP . They are getting lose by this process , it's just my suggestion and finally no other bots are giving this much rewards .
I read in one of this comment , you are thinking to decrease sbd value to $0.1 . If you do it @randowhale will definitely looses its potential 😊

I suggest you use 2SBD and 5SBD sends as that are the currently most profitable. We are working on improving this but rounding errors alone can affect your profitability at the moment.

I think you're misleading steemians with your site's minnowbooster vote calculator. It shows a $1.64 vote value whilst in reality it gives $1.44 or even less in another case I found.
It's OK to mislead people, but please add a message giving people information about your buggy calculator.

Glad you've reduced the minimum SBD to 2SBD, 1SBD would be preferable. I suggest you create another account for dolphins.
we are working on that full time and will soon give you not one account but multiple and with it a limit increase and minimum send decrease. We plan to get as low as 0.1SBD if possible.
