After using windows, simplemining, linux on my own i have some conclusions i want to share with all of you, so you can benefict from my experience.
- Dont try to set up linux to mine, it looks possible but it will make you crazy trying to make it work
- Dont use windows in any version, if you want to mine with just one card you can use windows but if you want to set up a rig dont do it, it is not stable and it will reboot and make you loose mining hours, even if anything works perfect it will eventually reboot and not work until you realize what it is going on
- Choose the same model of gpu to mine and use all the same ones, it will make things easier and help you on this journey
- Use a good motherboard like asus z270 a prime that can handle 7 gpus and 2 more if you use the m2 connectors with proper adaptors
- Use any cheap cpu, it doesnt make a difference and does not help to put a better one
- Choose simplemining, cost only 2 dollars a rig and saves hours and days of configurations
- Download the simplemining nvidia version, it can be use with ati cards too, yes you can mix ati and nvidia, but if you are buying from scratch buy all the same ones gpu
