I'm new to Cryptos and walking my way through.
But how to get some Cryptos?
Besides Steemit there is not much around isn't it?
You can buy it or mine it and that's it for the moment right?
So i looked up some Miningsites
And i have to say most of them are rubbish or scam ^^
Then i found Genisis Mining
Would like to know who has experiences with them?
Is it worth time and money?
I would say it looks legit... no?
Genesis screwed up in July and is still lagging behind. The worst part: don't believe a word they say. Totally unaccountable.

In the past simply buying crypto (esp. Bitcoin) - and maybe trading it, the high volatility can give you nice gains if you time it right - has always been the more lucrative option, compared to the same amount invested in some 'mining contract'. Even IF they pay out and are not a scam.
Mining Bitcoin has become a very tough business - I would not waste any time with it, no matter if you mine yourself or use one of the cloud mining scams, errrrr, 'services'.
For various alt-coins, esp. Ether, mining is still a viable option, but it is worth it to read up a little and mine yourself (one or several good ATI graphic cards, mining on one of the respected mining pools). If you live somewhere where electricity is cheap, you can earn quite a bit that way.
I would always advise AGAINST using ANY of those questionable mining sites, 90% of which don't even mine... (Genesis does mine, but if you really calculate any of their contracts, you will find that actual profits are symbolic or zero, and always worse than the options mentioned above).

I would be very careful with these cloud mining sites. A lot of them collect investors money, and make them believe that they are investing in hash power, but it's all smoke and mirrors. Basically Ponzi schemes!

STOPDo not use genesis mining to get BTC, It just takes too long and the profit is negligible. If you want bitcoin, I suggest you sell something and take BTC or an altcoin as payment or just outright buy it. If you have the time and patience you can use bitcoin faucets, though.
Before you do get bitcoin, you should ask yourself why you want it.
Do you want to make money? The only simple way is to get BTC, perferbly when it's low, and put it on a site like https://freebitco.in/?r=4683648 (that's my ref. Use it as a thanks if you think what comes next is useful:
It gives you extra satoshi everyday, up to 4% a year (yes that's my ref there, please use it as a thanks if this is useful). 4% is pretty good. If you have 1 BTC in it, you get a dollar out of it every couple of days. Not to mention transfering funds out for cheap on the site's withdrawal. JUST DON'T USE THE "MULTIPLY' tab. And be careful with your password.
A good way to see BTC is... it's money. Very versatile money. You can do everything you usually can, including paying with it on a BTC card. But you can do even more because of the low value of a single satoshi. Creativity is key.
