Bitcoin Miner Canaan A741 provides 8 TH/s and costs U$ 700.00
It consumes approximatelly 20 percent more energy but it delivers certainty of minimal 7,3 TH/s and may achieve almost 9 TH/s. On our plan to build a mining farm using eolic energy in Brazil, we are currently speculating on using Avalon 741 instead of Antimer S9.
The company is now called Canaan (https://canaan.io/). The higher performant machine now is A741 which costs $714. Recentely, an investment of U$ 43 million dollars has been done to improve their technology.
The AvalonMiner 741
According to Canaan
"The AvalonMiner 741 delivers a hash rate that does not fall below 7.3 TH/s and can achieve rates above 8 TH/s. This performance is the result of a unique chip design. Unlike other ASICs that are speed sorted, the A3212, is designed to “find” its optimum speed by dynamically increasing the internal clocks and simultaneously verifying the output".

Anyone already using it, care to drop a line? We believe it has true potential.

Very nice Friend.
Avalon is more suitable for mass deployment and easy to manage.
@elohimbrasil
Precisely. Reason we are seriously considering using it :D

So how did it work out? Have you chosen the 741 or the Antminer 9? I too am looking at the Avalon. Thanks. I'm following your progress.
