Is it really still viable to mine as an individual? Even an individual as part of a group? Looking at the picture of the warehouse full of more equipment than my entire life is even worth, I personally dont think I will be mining anytime... ever.

Not bitcoin. No. You can stake a new coin like dopecoin and I know folks with low accounts that have staked. For the more established stuff you need to be in a pool or sell your hash. I mean technically you'll eventually get one, but statistically you'd be burning electricity for like a thousand years before you actually got paid. Too hard to live that way.
Ah I suppose I made the mistake of limiting my view to just bitcoin. Im not cut out for all this crypto currency stuff tbh.
