I'm an experienced backpacker and was presented with the opportunity to float the Buffalo River National Senic River Trail in Nortneast Arkansas. I knew the two past times were similar. My only fear tas keeping everything dry. I had a few compression socks already so I only had to purchase a couple more in order to compress all of my gear. I used some 4 gallon trash bags as liners and was able to keep everything dry during the trip. The trip was made over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend and one of my most relaxing and enjoyable trip in recent memory.
