As I've gotten older, I'm sure like many of us my tunnel vision has gotten smaller and smaller. I find myself caring about the few close people I love, crypto currency, the gym , and an occasional studio session. Why is this? And is it Bad?
I used to care about clothes, dating multiple women at once, my weekends had to be jam packed with weed, booze, and "a good time" or I would have a huge sense of FOMO! Over the years, I would say strongly in the last 2 or 3 year those yearnings have much settled. I have started to embrace a more minimal lifestyle, and I have to say its becoming a bit of an obsession.
I am considering selling anything I do not absolutely need, buying one pair of sneakers and one pair of dress shoes, trading out my current wardrobe for a few packs of tshirts, some jeans, a jacket and fully embracing this minimalistic lifestyle.
My eating habits are already simplified, due to my fitness regiment I make all my food for the week on sundays and eat the same thing Monday-Friday. I consider food more like art ....during the week I eat to hit the calorie intake i desire, and on weekends I treat myself to finer dining and things I actually enjoy.
Many great people in history lead a similar routine styled, minimalistic lifestyle. It is a journey that I have already found myself on but may consider embracing even more. WE SHALL SEE!
Minimalism keeps the world in balance!
