Hello, dear Steemians!
Truth is usually ambiguous and hardly ever simple. One of the most defining characteristics of humans as a race is their ability to perceive and understand the world in different lights.
That means that each and every one of us sees the world in a unique way. There are as many worldviews as there are people on Earth. Each of them different and ambitious in their own way.
How do we then, differentiate between all these truths and the ultimate truth? Is there such a thing as an ultimate truth?
In today’s article, we are going to talk about the concept of these different worldviews.
Regardless of whether such perceived truths are supported by facts or not, I want to talk about the unhindered truth about these worldviews.
Imagine yourself in an airport. It is a crowded lobby and many people are waiting for their cue to leave the city for another country or town.
Some of them are bidding each other farewell. Some of them are eating snacks. Some are chatting and laughing together as a family.
You can perceive this image both as a beautiful sight and a dreadful one.
A person sees this sight and thinks about all the little things and simply deeds that make life beautiful and enjoyable to experience.
Another person sees this sight and thinks about the idea that after a hundred years, all these people here will be long dead and gone.
He thinks about the futility of all our endeavors. How helplessly we struggle to become the momentary holders of power and fame. How sheepishly we think about eternity, where in truth our true future is in death and destruction.
Meanwhile, the other person is still enjoying himself. He doesn’t think much about what future will bring. Even though he might agree that we are all going to die one day, he knows that it is not ‘today’ and that he still has to live life to its fullest.
The real question that we need to ask ourselves here is: Which one of these worldviews are actually the truth?
If you ask my humble opinion, both of these worldviews are correct in their own assessment. The real dilemma here is which one of these will actually help you with your productivity and day to day lively routine?
If some train of thought helps you get along and actually do something in order to realize your goals, then I could argue that that worldview is actually true and correct, at least for you and your life.
In the above example, you could think and see the world in both ways, one is an optimistic approach and the other is a pessimistic one, but which one can help you with your productivity and happiness?
I think that is the question we should ask ourselves. It doesn’t matter if your worldview is the truth or not, or whether it is supported by facts.
What you should ask yourself is this: Does my worldview actually help me or is it slowing me down?
Every thought is in some way and to some degree, true. This is not to say that all thoughts are true, as there are also fallacious and erroneous ways of thinking that are not supported by logic.
But when it comes to your worldview, I think that you should be asking a different question!
A BIG HUG!

Hello @chbartist!
I think I've said it on some occasions in these forums, but to leave my thoughts in this box of comments, I say this that I always say, that we must all act according to our own needs. Because as you say in this post, all points of view can be true or they can be false, but what really matters is whether those premises help us to advance in our path and grow as human beings.
What works for me suddenly does not work for someone who is reading my comment, as well as what works for some people who comment here, suddenly it will not work for me. And this does not have to be bad, much less the end of the world because of that.
I say that going far beyond this topic, we must ask ourselves if these things that we think or discover help us to advance in our life projects, if they are added to these objectives, or if they will become an obstacle, due to these things. It is what we must take care of, in order to be able to transcend in this life and contribute to humanity.
Regards!!!
You are right as always. Truth is seldom pure and never unambiguous. Everyone has their own truth
Indeed this is a very useful write-up to ponder on. Life can only be summarized as two things viz; good and bad. I have always ask myself questions like: why is there existence of bad? Why can't EVERYONE do good all the time and the answer comes out intuitively: perhaps bad is there to make the world balance. I sincerely think that people hold different views about the world because of their childhood. If a child is exposed to obscene things while growing up, then perhaps that child will only commit bad deeds when he is fully grown and the most annoying thing is that the child won't see any wrong in that. So for there to be an existence of good deeds in our world, there need to be a re-orientation on the topics of morals and the things a child is
exposed to daily. Moral instructions should be stressed on a child. That way people will hold good views that will be in consonance with one another and understand that life is short and is best lived when we make positive impact on one another. When we are no more, nothing else speaks well for us but our deeds and lives we touched. Regards @chbartist
Yes, everyone has a different thinking, ideology, opinion, that's why the world is so beautiful, some selling milk to buy wine, on the other hand, some selling wine to buy milk. Thanks for your excellent thinking about the people of our society.
Without a doubt, positive thoughts are those that bring us more in life, encourage us to move forward and live life in harmony with the world around us ... negative thoughts or the way you see negative things, I do not believe that they contribute a lot ... perhaps to be a little precabido, but in my opinion, the negative thoughts, only delay, paralyze, bring conflicts and in addition, literally get sick.
I really feel this post. I really believe that it is more important to focus on that which makes your life better. It is good to have opinions but don’t fight for opinions, fight for progress, fight for success. Being right in a debate doesn’t put food in your belly, a roof over your head or clothes on your back.
Thank you for the reminder to think about what really matters and focus on that.
😊❤️
Golden thoughts bro @chbartist yeah really people must do what they like it makes them happy and happy people can make good decigns...(i think)

An excellent overview @chbartist and you are right, our worldview may be different and may well be wrong, but we must understand that worldview must always help us in achieving our goals and dreams!
Oh yes @chbartist, a very good motivation and in spite of our worldview, we just have to go forward to our victory!
Yes @chbartist, each and every person has a different view and perspective towards anything. This view makes the difference between the people and the way of their living.

@chbartist, Every mind is unique and that's why we all perceive every aspect and subject differently and that's why we see different creations in this world. And in my opinion this unique and diversified way of thinking can bring up great creations and at the same time destructions too. Stay blessed.

With respect to your blog, truth is just the perceptive or the mentality or the side of the human the way he perceiving it, it's not easy to understand, until we don't see all the aspect of the fact, .. truth is different according to the perception of the person. The way he receive it.
@chbartist
This demonstrates the power of a crowdmind as the perspectives provided are great to consider in many tasks we look at daily. This is why I have enjoyed my time here on Steem as the amount of perspectives and knowledge that can be achieved here are great!

Hello @chbartist. In the example of the glass with water, the discussion should not focus on this half full or half empty, but rather take the glass, dilute what is left of water in a plant, and ask what we can do with the glass.
We can not stay engaged in issues that wear out and do not contribute to the existence, we must continue to evolve.I'm not so sure that we must optimistic all the time to make us strong. I'm not sure also if the pessimistic attitude just bring you down. That's why there are balance in everything. Remember if too much will just hurt you. So for me, either positive or negative you must consider it before making a step.
Love your write..

I had the feeling that the only truth to this world is life (birth) and death..

and something in between, living
You are asking yourself the wrong question. The question to ask is :what is truth?
Conflating subjective experience and objective truth is the biggest mistake of the 20/21st century.
They are not the same.
I my not so so humble opinion, you are incorrect.
Trying to conflate subjective experience with truth (verifiable objectivity) only serves to lead yourself (and your readers ) away from reality.
It would be an incorrect argument, irrelevant of the outcome.
(May I suggest Essential Philosophy? (stefan molyneux)
7 hours long youtube/mp3.
Well worth it. 'philosophy lite', kind of thing.
Great article.
I think truth always have a strange strong then fiction.

I can view the world as a gift and I'm very grateful.
My life is also a gift.
In return I'll offer my life to the giver.
All my life that I have done will serve also as a gift to humanity and to the world.
la vida es como un gran mosaico en donde cada ser es una pieza única, donde todos formamos parte de una única verdad, y en donde cada opinión es un complemento de nuestra verdad...
Very detailed truth. Thanks for supporting the community to grow

Congratulations @chbartist!
Your post was mentioned in the Steem Hit Parade in the following category:
I do not agree because we are all the products of our environment and the society we grow up in. Based on where we grow up, will determine how we perceive the world.
The worldview of many people today focuses on worldly desires and materialism and so called success. Economic development is pursued and there are many uneducated people thinking they know it all without studying research, facts and natural laws.
If you grow up in the west, you will be programmed with goals such as wealth, power and competition. This pits us against one another and against our earth, that sustains us. The culture in the west if void of any meaning and when people are injected with poisons, such as vaccines, eating chemical food, using fluoride toothpaste and drinking the chemical water, their worldview and understanding about themselves will be altered significantly.
Many people here in the west are sick and overweight, very stressed out and dying of diseases. Unless you take a vested interested in uncovering the truth, then you will be living in the dark and believing all sorts of lies and mistruths.
The problem with many people today is they think they know it all based on arrogance and programming that we are subjected to, such a mainstream media lies and propaganda and people can be easily programmed and manipulated.
In order to be a well developed person, you must have good values and live life based on love, respect, courage, humility, truth, wisdom, honesty, such as we have in our Indigenous culture that has been around for thousands of years.
It is definitely hard to break out of the matrix when you are in the west. I shut down most major media about 20 years ago, but still, you cannot be free of it. I moved to SE Asia a few years ago and was immediately shocked by the change in yt. All of the sudden, programs that had been blocked were now available. I also notice people to be way more laid back here and more open to views that are not their own. It's much more peaceful and free here. My only regret is that I did not get out of the us sooner.
What brings us forward is life in the here and now. Past and future do not exist, only the moment.
If my thought is positive I draw only positive people and situations into my life.
