I'm #newhere on SteemIt, and have been using Minds.com for a few months. Currently the $USD value of 1 Minds Token is ... nothing at all. Minds is currently on the Rinkeby Testnet, so their tokens are just "funny money" at present, with no announcement as yet about when they will be switching to the main Ethereum network, and even when they do switch, there is no guarantee that the Minds Token will be exchangeable for fiat. The only hard value that you can place on 1 Minds Token right now is for 1,000 views of a boosted post on Minds, using the internal BOOST system, similar to purchasing advertising space for your post on their site.

It seems that Minds.com has recently migrated to the Ethereum MainNet, and I noticed today that they are having some "teething issues". There seems to be no content visible in any of the posts (both old and new posts) anywhere on the site, either as regular posts, blog posts, or even in the instant messenger chat! I have noticed this only when viewing Minds.com on the desktop browser. The mobile app works fine still, and I can see everything there. I have mentioned this issue on Twitter.
