As this does come down to morals, and ultimately is situation dependent. I believe you should know from the start what you signed up to do. Killing an “innocent” person may seem immoral at the moment, but what you don’t know is that the “innocent” person went back to his house and plotted with the enemy and killed all your buddies. Have you ever seen “lone survivor”? This is what comes to mind in this situation. I take a more utilitarian approach. Unfortunately you have to have faith in your superiors to give you the right info to kill the right men or women. Mistakes happen. But in war it’s killed or be killed. I would kill one “innocent” person to save the lives of thousands anyday.
