Military officials after taking the oath forget that such sacred commitment is to defend and protect the lives of innocent people. And they end up protecting the interests of the those who only profit with murder. They simply are a tool. And very few dare to stand to speak out.

Some of them are scared. But they don't realize that the power of any government resides in the military. That is, the very officials.
