Fortnite over copyright infringement in Korea. This marks the end of a legal battle between two of the world’s hottest games. PUBG has sent a letter of withdrawal to Epic Games Inc.’s attorneys on Monday, and the case has since been closed, according to the website of the local court system.
Though PUBG and its law firm confirmed the action but wouldn’t say the reason behind the move, nor whether a settlement had been reached. Both the games are part-owned by social media and gaming giant Tencent Holdings Ltd. PUBG claimed that Epic’s Fortnite mimicked many of the characteristics of its game back in January.
