What is the difference between B.E. and B.Tech?

This is a very common doubt for every aspirants of engineering. Both B.E. and B.tech are graduate level programs. They also have quite a level of differences. These courses have duration of 4 years with each year having 2 semesters.

  1. B.E.---Minimum qualification required to persue B.E. is 10+2. B.E. program focuses more on theoretical knowledge. This course is applied by many and degree obtained can be used anywhere with a project done in the concluding year.
  1. B.Tech.--- It is the graduate level program offered by many universities. To join this course aspirants must attend the state level or national level Engineering Entrance exam. The B.Tech. is more sort of practical oriented program.

Key Diffrences between B.E. and B.tech.

  • B.E. is Bachelor of Engineering and B.Tech is Bachelor of Technology.

** B.E. is data-oriented while B.Tech is skill oriented.

Which is better?

It is not possible to decide which course is better. Both these courses have their importance and place in the society. A lot of specialisations are available for students to choose from. Students can choose either of the fields.
