UN's State report food security act 2017to India

The report showsa better picture of food security situation in India.however inspite of the following measures a good amount of population is still suffers undernourishment especially women are anemic.because
Lack of commitment on the part of centre and state government to end undernourishment.insufficient institution like State food commission due to lack of transparency and accountability.Lack of political commitment and ill convinced policies making it further difficult.
PDS can play a big role in bringing about dietary diversity for relying on subsidised food.complementing rice and wheat more nutrition food items improving the nutrition situation.
Improving the insfrutucture by forming ppp, preserve the quality of subsidised food.
