Your photos remind me of markets in several Latin American countries where I've lived. It's such an experience to go to some of them. Sometimes I think I need to drop breadcrumbs or something at the one here in Panajachel, Guatemala; one part of it is such a labyrinth.

That's interesting that you've found the meat to be really fresh. I buy fruits, vegetables, herbs, flowers, honey, and so forth at the market, but I've been leery about the meat, because it's usually sitting out without cover or refrigeration.
