For the Love Of Writing & Film

Dear Daniel,

Everyone, at least every artist, speaks of having a muse. Whether it's a little voice whispering story thoughts in your ear or is an actual person who sings the song of credibility to you I am of the firm belief if you are not driven at least at a very base level by the pure enjoyment and love of creating then you're in it for the wrong reasons.

Getting into writing and filmmaking is like choosing to gamble. You get in knowing the odds are long, but if you hustle, be constantly grinding, and dreaming those big dreams, and never give up, your big break will come. BUT YOUR HAVE TO DO WHAT IT TAKES. EVERYTHING.

These days it takes more than "just being a writer" or "just being an actor". The ones with any kind of power or momentum simply outwork and are motivated by their muse to always be creating material.

My muse is you. My heroes that create harken to performances from your films from Casino Royale, to Knives Out and the Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. And in those films, your face tell a thousand tales and I'm striving to tell them all.

In 2011 I received my first publishing contract for Another Way to Die. Since then I've written 33 books and had 27 published. Next February will be my 10th anniversary in the publishing industry. I have had 11 Amazon Bestsellers. And written three non-fiction books as well.

I've been actively participating in the film industry since 2014.

These are indie accomplishments. As of October of last year I took a big step up. I signed with a talent manager. Irony is Hollywood shut down soon after because of covid. Now Hollywood is working to make good on 2019 and 2020 promises.

I know my time will come. I just have to keep grinding. I just have to keep hustling.

So in February 2021 I will be filming a tv talk show pilot in LA, Recovery Unplugged. And everyday I'm sending out a query letter to a different literary agent. And I'll be showing Letters to Daniel to distributors, producers and investors.

Always hustling, always grinding. Be a content creator. Executives and other Hollywood gatekeepers are trending working with them. If you insist on staying your safe box you are destined to circle in place.

Until next time, dream big!
