I've noticed an alarming increase in teens and children who take part in, "dank memes". Even my own child has taken part in them, this is concerning to a parent like myself because I feel like they have changed my child for the worse. My child says she posts them ironically but how can a picture of an ugly frog that says "Living is pain," be in anyway ironic or found to be funny? I've noticed a majority of these "memes," consist of frogs and wanting to die along with loud speaker breaking noises... I feel like these "ironic jokes," should be taken seriously because I believe they are creating depression in our youth. It won't be ironic when it's too late...Please talk to your child about memes before it is too late.
Here is a meme I made to try and relate to the kids:
too much irony is poison. is this post irony? i'm serious, i'm not sure. i think you are being genuine. if you are, this is a subject of enduring interest to me.
