Just my two cents...I upvote my articles but I do not upvote my comments.
I feel the posts are of quality...comments are for the author...I let him/her and the other ones commenting decide if it warrants anything.

For a post you've worked hours on, 100% upvote is totally justified.
Absolutely....no reason not to upvote yourself in that situation.
And I dont think many on here would argue that one.
It is the "thanks for posting" when people upvote themselves $3.25 and then dont even upvote the article that drives people nuts.
