France has some pretty nice taxi's too but you have to compare high end taxi's to highend taxi's...
Although I can't say I've ever seen a Lamborghini taxi in Manhattan it would not be difficult to call a service to have a Rolls Royce come pick you up. Assuming you could afford it.
