You applied to use a meeting room. That application has been denied. Library meeting rooms are not available for business or social use per the posted policy. If this is a business meeting, no use. If a service is being promoted, no use and no soliciting anywhere on the grounds. If this is a meetup of a social nature, no use. The library's Commons is available for meetups and people hanging out together. Discuss business all you like. Coffee and food sold on site. Solid wifi. But meeting rooms have a different policy.
If you need a meeting room, the library has a list of those in the city. Reply to the email you were sent and we can assist you in finding one.
