My hive introduction post.

Hi! I think you know me. My name is Bridget, born in Nigeria with five siblings yet it's funny how I find myself here in Kazan.

I write for freedom and peace. Freedom from financial ineptitude and the ability to be the observer and observed. I've never been fortunate to have everything I desire so I learnt the hard way.

It's funny how time flies. This year, I'll be twenty two and I remember three years ago when I used to dream about leaving my country. Don't blame because life got unbearable and I was left with two options: Stay back and live in depression or start all over again in a new town and country.

I don't write much because I empty my thoughts in sentences which frees my soul to receive, breath and move on.

Sometimes the weight of my traumatic ordeal clouds my strength. That night is still vivid in my thoughts; I can hear my voice screaming for help while he tore my clothes threatening to kill me if I shout again.

Maybe I would have fought back if it happened today but that was years ago. I was young, naive and desperate to get a good life.

I was so foolish to have listened to his lame words. He raped me in pieces as I condemned myself to death. Though I thought of committing suicide thrice yet I thank God to be alive and remain a witness.

Back to my introduction before I got carried away. I'm studying Library science over here and life has been amazing since I moved on.

I gave up on relationships because the boys won't grow up. All they do is groom beards and goatees just to look mature and rich yet I know there are some good guys out there so all am left to do is focus on my self development and groom the best version of myself.

I'm a fashion designer, sorry I forgot to mention that maybe because I just design my clothes these days because am alone here.

Everyday, I wake with one intent. Live and learn while making the world a better place. That's all about me! I told you am a girl of sentences.
