WISCONSIN STEEMIT MEETUP - PARADISE FOUND AT THE EVENT

Where to start? WOW!! What a great day and fantastic event. As @papa-pepper mentioned in his MEETUP MEGA POST SUPER RECAP, there were many fun and exciting things happening. Here are a few of my thoughts in the afterglow of this spectacular Steemit Meetup.

Thank you to @provider for getting the ball rolling and making this event happen. Choosing the perfect location, providing some wonderful smoked meats, and much more. The Lake Arrowhead park had a great shelter, playground and fishing on the lake. I can't think of a better spot!! Thanks @provider also for bringing your awesome wife, Vicky. I got a chance to speak with her and she is lovely!

Steem-lebrity @papa-pepper making his week 1 NFL picks for @paradise-found Pick'em Post

I had been friends and in contact with @papa-pepper since I started on Steemit in February. Seemingly larger than life in his posts, with the huge snakes and other biting or poisonous animals he handles with ease, he is exactly that in real life. Fun loving and easy going, with a generous amount of compassion and wisdom. Papa was certainly the amusing center of activities.

It was great getting to know @truconspiracy!! It's good to know another Steemian here in our community, plus we have many common interests.

@jasonhenza introduced Papa to his electric unicycle

I was really impressed with @jasonhenza. Traveling 4 hours on a Friday to join people he had never met before was really terrific. I'm so glad he did and it was great meeting him!! Jason has great balance on the electric unicycle, that thing is not easy to ride.

The @little-peppers enjoyed the bounce house for hours

For those of you who haven't met the @little-peppers, they are just as cute in person as they are in the posts. It's good that @papa-pepper has boundless energy to keep up with the Pepper tribe, as @mama-pepper had the newest Pepper in a papoose for the day.

Thank you to my better half, @wrladyhawk. She has been amazingly supportive when I have spent countless hours at my laptop. And @wrladyhawk again showed her support in coming to the meetup and making new friends.

And last but not least, there was the Steemian to remain nameless. He was actually the man who introduced everyone at the Meetup to Steemit. So we all are thankful to Nog for that. He was very generous with his drone, and everyone had a chance to fly it. The fireworks was also a nice touch and very entertaining.
