The Head of a Decapitated Toddler Was Reattached Successfully
Not every surgery in the world ends successfully, and if it is about children, it will be more important, but fortunately this surgery in Australia had a good ending.
The incident was that a car carrying Jackson Taylor, a 16-month-old baby who was in the car with his mother and sister, crashed head to head with another vehicle at 70 miles per hour.
Jackson’s mother was not damaged due to the car’s airbag, but the 9-year-old sister Jackson was injured from the abdominal area and Jackson was thrown out into the car and he was partially decapitated, so that his head and neck were only attached by a layer of the spine and he was severely damaged.
According to police report, Jackson was immediately taken to the hospital by an emergency medical chpper and underwent surgical operation. With medical care provided by the medical team, the baby’s cervical vertebrae were reattached using a very thin piece of wire. after the 6-hour operation, Jackson was saved from certain death and two weeks after this miraculous surgery, he was able to walk and laugh.
