Drinking one to six cups per day is more beneficial than harmful. The only drawback is increased blood pressure, worsening of anxiety, insomnia, tremor, and potentially elevation of glaucoma risk.
Apart from those mentioned, coffee is benefecial to the body. Benefits include: significant lowering of death risk from all causes; protection from cardiovascular diseases; cerebrovascular benefits; prevention and lowering risk for cancer, diabetes, and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease; prevention from neurodegeneration; reducing depression; and many more.
