Hola amigos de HIVE por acá les traigo una nueva receta de mi familia materna, los Ruíz; maravillosos seres de la tierra del estado Miranda con los cuales he aprendido mucho de la interacción con las plantas, su manutención, sus beneficios y la gran cantidad de recetas para mantenernos sanos y en comunión con el universo.
Hello friends of HIVE, here I bring you a new recipe from my maternal family, the Ruíz; wonderful beings from the land of the Miranda state with whom I have learned a lot from the interaction with plants, their maintenance, their benefits and the large number of recipes to keep us healthy and in communion with the universe.
Con los años he podido reconocer en mí, la necesidad de vivir cerca de la naturaleza, rodeado en lo posible de ella, pero no únicamente como paisaje transitable, sino como ambiente de vida e interacción. Vivir y respirar a lo natural para mí ha implicado toda una revolución en el arte de la danza y el performance que suelo crear y llevar a las personas, incluyendo dentro de los temas a desarrollar, esa visión del hombre nuevo, conectado con la madre tierra y en armonía con sus ancestros y el planeta.
Over the years I have been able to recognize in myself the need to live close to nature, surrounded as much as possible by it, but not only as a walkable landscape, but as an environment of life and interaction. Living and breathing in the natural for me has involved a whole revolution in the art of dance and performance that I usually create and bring to people, including within the themes to be developed, that vision of the new man, connected to mother earth and in harmony with their ancestors and the planet.
En esta entrega les estaré conversando de una de las recetas que mi madre y sus hermanos usaban para tratar enfermedades con elementos del patio, ya que ellos no tenían fácil acceso a la medicina alopática y la verdad no la solían utilizar en todo momento, ya que su vida siempre transcurrió entre matas de mango y otras frutas, así como hierbas para curar males que nacen en las orillas del río.

Cuando en las montañas a las personas o a sus animales domésticos les pican insectos con alto contenido de veneno, suelen tener una botella de vidrio con preparados que llaman contras, por estar hechos contra algún mal específico. Hoy les daré la receta de mi tío Prisco Ruíz contra la picadura de insectos, muy buscada en las montañas de Cupo en Miranda.

CONTRA LA PICADURA DE ALACRÁN, CULEBRA, AVIZPA Y OTROS.
En caña clara, se coloca:
-Raíz de mato.
-Congrina.
-Estrologa.
-Guaro morado.
-Ajo.
-Semilla de sarrapia.
-Cruz de caña amarga.
-Cuero de mato real.
-Alparaiso (la Flor).
-Congrina.
-Estrologa.

AGAINST THE STING OF SCORPION, SNAKE, WASP AND OTHERS.
In clear cane, it is placed:
-Mato root.
-Congrina.
-Strology.
-Guaro purple.
-Garlic.
-Sarrapy seed.
-Cross of bitter cane.
-Real mato leather.
-Alparaiso (the Flower).

Para preparar esta contra, los elementos se recogen durante la cuaresma (miércoles de ceniza hasta el viernes santo), con permiso de la planta y se colocan en una botella de vidrio con aguardiente o caña blanca. Preferiblemente se deja macerar unos meses antes de usar, mi familia suele dejarlas por lo menos un año y luego se usan.
To prepare this against, the elements are collected during Lent (Ash Wednesday until Good Friday), with permission from the plant and placed in a glass bottle with brandy or white cane. Preferably it is left to marinate for a few months before using, my family usually leaves them for at least a year and then they are used.

Interesante post @nelsonojeda.vzla, me trajo recuerdos de mi abuela mamagrande, quien siempre guardaba bajo su cama un frasco de cañablanca con raízdemato y con eso curaba todo, desde una gripe hasta un pasmo. Gracias por compartir.
