Meditation or “dhyana” is an extreme form of concentration. It allows your mind to focus on one thing and detaches you from all worldly things. Meditation is an ancient practice that helps to control our own mind and consequently our own life and discover ourselves. Meditation can help us to eliminate negative thoughts, worries, anxiety, and all factors that can prevent us feeling happy.
Today’s life is full of stress, which further influences our day to day activities. Meditation helps in reducing stress by affecting your nervous system. It has been proved that the practice of meditation, carried out on a regular basis, will mitigate the symptoms of stress and anxiety. On a physical level, meditation helps to lower high blood pressure. It improves the immune system and Increases the energy level, as you gain an inner source of energy. The mind becomes fresh, delicate and beautiful with regular practice of meditation.
Meditation sharpens the mind by gaining focus and expands through relaxation. It makes you aware – that your inner attitude determines your happiness. It is advisable to try to meditate every day, possibly at the same time to be able to create a new habit. Meditation can bring about a true personal transformation. As you learn more about yourself, you’ll naturally start discovering more about yourself.
