This is precisely why I think the recent attacks by the legacy media on alternative media are intended to speed up the demise of the legacy media, and not actually a desperate attempt to regain relevance. This is how human psychology works--it's not about good attention or bad attention, but about attention itself; what we focus on becomes more prominent, and therefore this is about giving any and all attention to the alternative media to cement it as the next paradigm as we move forward. Controversy is good for business.
