Don't think there's a way to get the account back unfortunately, the recovery process only works if you still have the old keys and the recovery account you have set can verify you're the real owner to reset the keys for you, but that requires a hacker to have stolen and changed the original keys and is limited within 1 month.

Yeah they got my entire bitewarden account; phone numbers were used on fake gmail accounts as recovery accounts and total havoc.

My backup buddy didn't take me seriously and didn't move quickly enough. She thought I was paranoid. Geesh.

But lesson learned.
I was thinking it would have been good to have a backupbuddy on Hive. Where we work in a small group, or something (but I'm not a numbers person), and hold Hive for each other in case of this.
