BIBLE STUDY. 09/04/2022

Glory be to God.

I thank God for another day in his presence and for the wonderful teachings in today's Bible study.

Important points noted from today's teaching

It was a powerful time in Gods presence, in the Bible study today we were reminded by brother Eli that Jesus already existed before the world was created, Jesus existed before Abraham, He is not a human like us he only came as a human in order to save and wash away our sins.

Psalm 2:7, here I learned that Jesus is the only begotten son of God, that is to tell us he is not human but a spirit. Jesus is the one and only son of God.

Mathew 16:13;14, here I learned that when Jesus asked his disciples who do people said he was, they gave different answers, that some said he is John the Baptist and some said he was the prophet Elijah, others Jeremiah and different prophets, but they were all wrong he is the only begotten Son of God.

Mathew 16:16;17, here I learned that when Jesus asked his disciples who he was one of them named Simon Peter answered and said, You are Christ the son of the living God, and Jesus commended him for the answer for it was only revealed to him by his father which is in heaven. This shows that Simon was the only one who was able to Know who Jesus was as of that time.

Mathew 11:27, I learned that God has delivered everything to Jesus, he has made him in charge if heaven and earth, Jesus also said no man knows the son except the father and the son except the father. Jesus has the right to reveal himself to anybody.

John 17:24, I learned that Jesus knows how the world was formed because he has already existed before the creation of the heavens and the earth, Jesus wants us to be with him in his kingdom and enjoy eternal life with him.

How this teaching has affected me

Jesus is the only begotten son of God and has already existed before the creation.

Jesus is in charge of this world and he wants me to be saved and enjoy eternal life in his kingdom.
