Why You Should Treat Planet Steem As A Way To Use Your Superpowers

in #matrix7 years ago (edited)

If you haven't noticed, a few thousand more jobs just got replaced by robots.

At the rate we're going, Amazon will just be using robots to ship everyone their necessities, and we'll be ordering this stuff from our couches on our phone. Unlike most humans, I welcome this shift. I fucking hate boring jobs, and if a robot can do it, then I am more free to help society evolve into a more colorful and interesting version of its current dreadful state.

Steemit, and Planet Steem are not what you think they are.

They are much more than a "blogging platform". They are much more than Social Media 3.0. What people don't realize is that smaller communities, err....tribes are forming within Planet Steem. These sub societies are creating social tribes that provide a sort of insurance for income. In its essence, it's social insurance, based on people voluntarily associating with like minds. The more value you create, the more you are valued by those who are similar to you. This is how tribes formed before the corporations took over the fabric of society. Is it perfect? Hardly. But those who were here from early days can attest that it is better than it was. It will continue to evolve.....for better or worse, that's up to us, and our energy.

I am not saying that corporations are all bad, but I, along with other prominent people, think that the current design of corporations is very bad indeed.

People are confused by the term 'decentralization'. They think that means everyone will suddenly be equal and we won't have fights anymore. We will have more fights, because central authorities, like CEOs and pyramid-style social structures keep fights at a minimum through suppression (and yes, Steemit shares these characteristics too). What we are moving towards are millions of sub communities, and voluntary collectives, the kind which existed before the corporations took over. Corps will still exist, but they will cease to dominate all aspects of our lives.

So, what will this look like? Just look at what is going on in Steemit for your answer. Have you noticed that people who are more socially involved do better than those who are socially isolated? (I'm not talking about artists and programmers here, who generally work alone and who do well after releasing a project.) Programmers do better on here because Steem's early adopters were mostly those involved in the tech side of crypto. Artists were largely absent from this group. But the strange this is, that artists and programmers are very simlar because they work independently. Their tools are the only things that are different.

Back to my point.

Everyone has superpowers.

If you don't know what your superpower is, I challenge you to dwell upon this until you do. The future waits for you to figure this out.

If you don't know what your superpower(s) is, you're going to lose out to someone who does know. Passion wins the game. They don't teach you this in school, but I know it's true. I've lived this. You might not succeed today, while that asshole does, but if you quietly work, with determination, and passion, and the thing you're working on fits into your superpower wheelhouse, you will win eventually. Or even if you fail, you will be much wiser than when you started.

I failed at 4 businesses, right in a row. I tried so many fucking jobs, it's unreal. The problem always came down to this: I see myself as a person like Willy Wonka, not an Oompah Loompah. I want to create that lickable wallpaper, even if it's just in a story. I don't want to be the salesperson, the factory worker boxing up the lickable wallpaper. My main superpower is my imagination, which actually knows no bounds. I never allowed anyone (for very long) to tame my mind. And another thing I share with Wonka is my severe distaste for cheaters.

Modern society would make you think otherwise, because it is not in the corporations best interest that you discover your superpowers. They gain nothing from you becoming free. Being free means you get to choose wisely who and what you invest your time in. Most of the current systems operate with a slave system in place. You're in debt, so you need a job. You can't be picky about who you work for because your family would starve. You take the first job offered to you. You are a slave.

I am very familiar with being a slave. I was one once. I no longer am slave in most respects, but I am not free either. I am a slave to information. This is my final addiction.

But now I have the freedom to decide who and what I want to do. I made it out of the Matrix. It was not easy, as I spent over a decade trying to figure it out and mostly failing. The thing that sets me apart from others who are in it, is my determination. I was determined to figure out how to be free from wage slavery. That was my bitch.

The fear of going back to wage slavery is why I generally work over 10 hours per day, every day. I don't take days off even though I should. There is just too much I want to do. There are too many ideas I have that are whispering to me at night. There is still so much work to be done to improve the way the world operates.

So, I ask you now: do you want to be free? How bad do you want it?

If you don't want it, you really won't achieve much in your life. That's just reality. The world won't respond to half-assed attempts. You really have to want something before it becomes real. And it won't happen over night. I worked my ass off for a decade trying to fucking figure it out. And whatever monetary gains I've made could all be taken away at any moment. But an idea cannot be snuffed out, neither can a collective movement that matters. My reputation, though, cannot be destroyed by anyone other than myself.

I am not saying you should quit your job. You should not! What I am saying here is that you should figure out what your superpower is, and then either create a community, or help someone create something you believe in, which uses your skills.

btw, I am looking for about 5 special people from all over the globe to help out with a very special project in 2018. Make yourself be known to me.

Quick Request @StellaBelle...

Could You possibly do a Christmas Themed Video for
the Holidays ??

Thank You 4 considering this request...

Cheers !!

hmmm....great idea, I say yes! (i hope it will be on time!)

No worries if it comes AFTER Christmas... consider putting on a Santa outfit and then either get stuck in "traffic" or something that I'm SURE You will come up with AND this will make the video even MORE Funny & Great...

Perhaps You could combine a variety of Saturday Night Live Xmas skits created over the years...

You have the "Midas Touch", @StellaBelle... AND think most of us could use a bit of humor right about now...

I'm already looking forward to Your incredible Creative Genius @ work...

You ROCK StellaBelle !!

This is totally true and will continue to be as long as this platform continues to exist. People go for authenticity but more importantly, they go for that of their friends. When i first joined this platform, my mentor @tj4real told me the secret for success here. He said just try to make friends here and see how fast you will grow. It was and still is the best way to succeed here on steemit and i am regret not taking action immediately.

Amazing, we really have a similar attitude. I would love it if we could collaborate.

僕のことを覚えるか覚えないかわかrないけど ;-P
I am pretty passionate about writing right now and have other responsibilities (between 3D life, the Deadpost Initiative, and “moderating” the Be Awesome chats and just staying in touch with so many people. But I would love it if there’s something we can do to collaborate so I hope you can’t tell me what you are planning. I’ll be on discord in two or three days at latest, I can find you in slothicorn chat room right?

I started posting 2-4 times a day. I didn’t want to take your advice first because I wanted all my posts to be gold but I find steeming much more fun now that I’ve not relaxed a bit and allowed things to just come out how they want to come out.

Also I’m going to use this post to convince some friends of the awesome people at steemit! Thank you!

Ah, one more thing....you don’t need to be scared. If you are filled with passion and love and desire theres no way you’ll end up back in a situation that you detest! You’ve already made your value abundantly clear!

yeah, i will be in the slothicorn discord channel in next days, so catch me there. Thanks for your nice comments.

i just want to be free, self dependent, maker of my own world long vacations to travel through the world. I just do not want to be in matrix. i want be feel like a bird.

It looks like steem is leaving me little choice but to make it a full time job. I tried to make it a hobby, but it is slowly but surely taking over my life. I am now leading a community of about 100 Israelis, helping out, instructing and commenting like mad. No time to post.

Keep leading communities and make new accounts so you can start from 0 to prove how to do it, i think many minows need to be shown how to start from 0 and how its all about hardwork in comments, maybe in the future it wont be this easy, ever thought about that? Worries me a lil, that maybe this is just the easy times, the good times, the fat times when it was easy to accumulate steem, but maybe it shoudl be a lil harder, and it will be when millions are all competing for this free money, hah people wont just let this free money be given away like this for long we will see massive crowds come in which is GOOD oh it will be GLORIOUS

we will see such amazing crowds of people all stampeding towards steemit an its going to give us a 10 million user account VERY fast and I bet we can get to 1 billion users by THIS time 2018 so the end of 2018 in ne year from now i bet we will zoom past 1 million and go straight to 1 billion and break records....
100 israelis hmmm lol what else could we do with them?

i want to be free. i want to make it out of the matrix

I have two superpowers relevant to Steemit. First, as a dolphin - even a small dolphin - I can help folks out in a way that adds up to something important. I've got that in action -- right now -- in my BLACKLUX Holiday Party for @blacklux, who is still recovering from the hurricanes in Puerto Rico. That party runs for 14 days. I'm matching $50 SBD in transfers to @blacklux, and putting the SBD from 14 days of party posts in her account, too. And party-goers are finding that it can be rewarding to help out someone else, too. It's an awesome feeling to be able to do this. Without Steemit, I couldn't do it.

My other superpower is that I can eat from the land - from weeds, wild plants, and mushrooms. And by putting tiny little seeds in the ground, too, I can make food appear in days or weeks! A lot of food! I don't just know how to do it. But I show people how, right here on Steemit. I don't just repeat stuff I copied from pixabay or wikipedia. I show people, week after week, what I'm actually foraging and eating, or growing.

And I can cultivate a community around foraging and gardening, too. I showed that with the @foraging-trail and the @gardening-trail. But I'm like you and can't abide cheating. So I'm trying to figure out another way to do that - one that's more in my own hands.

Superpowers rock! :D

yes to eating wild plants, weeds and mushrooms! our Earth is such a treasure. May we all plant the seeds to help each other thrive.

That's a happy thought! :D

@stellabelle, I'm interested!
Do tell more of this special project you have in mind...
🤗

Aye, Stella! Well said! The way communities link to the value is not only a generation of value in each other but it helps give a stabilized structure of positivity in the community.

~@Timbo

Brill!

Gave a speech to my mother today regarding having no interest in sitting at someones desk doing what I'm told.

I'll write technical analysis for utopian, when I feel like it.

I'll write about Steemland, and some of the characters here, when I feel like it.

And I'll even shoot a video or two of me riding around this Island, when I feel like it.

Merry Christmas to you!

Or not if you dont feel like it.

Yes sir 😁

Hey Stella! Enjoyed this post a lot cause it represents me in every way, it represents us.
When I first recognized the glitches in this Matrix it was about 10 years ago. If I'm correct. I was 15 years old back then... My life was never the same after that, shocking experience at first but rather enjoyable after :) Changed lot of preferences, lost majority of the people I was hanging with through life... Started to value different things, deeper conversations... became heavily irritated with any kind of bullshit and artificial stuff, know what I mean?
feels like all that artificial idiotism is drowning my freedom, and I love my freedom :) :) :) I loved it since kindergarten! Everyone was getting on my nerves even at the youngest of age, I was like, who are you to dictate how I will spend my time? And the beliefs just grew exponentially over the years, I developed such strong beliefs that there is no kind of wind that can change my direction even 1%... And I'm enjoying the road, whole my life I was sure I couldn't be a slave... it was just too hard for me to process that even as an option, so I searched and searched... thankfully crypto-space in general and this beautiful platform gave me an alternative, I can now visualize even better and move in the way where I wanna be in the future :) Having so much more time and stronger finances. Pure perfection <3
I enjoy my authenticity... It has changed my life, whole life people go through life scared of being authentic... its a trap :) we need to focus on the things that matter, getting ourselves back... giving time to ourselves, since this corrupted system is wasting it to the max... not to mention power of LOVE, everyone ignores it and thinks being cold is their strength when in reality love is the highest frequency, no one can negate that :)

Thank you for this beautifully crafted post, feels like something I had written. Maybe in one of my past lives when I could actually write good English :P haha
I will definitely focus on your posting more in the future and I hope we can stay in contact :) Sending you peace and love, enjoy your day!

@stellabelle, thanks for inspiring many within the Steemit community. I enjoy hearing the success stories of fellow Steemians.

But as you point out, we fail often before we find success.

My hope for 2018 is that I will be successful with an online course that I created for Markdown. Thank you for inspiring me to continue in this journey!

Here are some tips I give new people with concrete steps to do better when they first get here. Using some of these can help boost rewards right from the start.

Make Money Blogging on Steemit Top Tips and Checklist for Better Results!!

inspiring..!.. i also spend most of the time on steeming....hope it could be my full time income source,,,

Wow

@stellabelle you actually failed at 4jobs 🙄🙄🙄

NO, I didn't fail at 4 jobs. I started 4 businesses, and failed at those. There's a difference.

Ok i get

So how did you overcome the failure ??

Any secret ??

What people don't realize is that smaller communities, err....tribes are forming within Planet Steem. These sub societies are creating social tribes that provide a sort of insurance for income. In its essence, it's social insurance, based on people voluntarily associating with like minds. The more value you create, the more you are valued by those who are similar to you.

I've been thinking about this for a while as well. If value is determined by the marketplace, and every marketplace values things differently, then we should focus on creating the kind of value that we want other like-minded individuals to find important as well.

Even though my “lickable wallpaper” is modular synth videos with live drums, I could not agree more. Period. My creative output has reached just about every mainstream platform....but it’s the tribal nature of steem that has me roped in and believing this is the actual future for creative output. Forget building a following for your band...I just want to be part of the tribe!! There isn’t much of a huge eurorack synth community on here yet...and the feeling that there is still time to be a significant part of a tribe that doesn’t even exist yet is amongst the most exciting things I’ve ever blindly stumbled on, and I’m throwing my time and money at it this year.

This post is epic! @stellabelle. My partner @silasdavid and I are looking to do this very thing you speak of... we want to travel and change the world and share in on here... hiking Is only one of our superpowers. We both do art, I sing and play guitar (will be posting soon) and we both love to adventure. Our dream is to travel and share all the above with like minded people who’d appreciate this. Work is hard to find this year and it’s the first time we’ve ever actually struggled this badly. So... Thank you for giving us inspiration and hope for our dream to come true!!! Quite frankly.. Im tired of living as a slave as well! I've never felt I'm meant to be here due to the fact that I KNOW life is not meant to be cookie cutter. I wanna shine my light and share it with the world. Especially when I know I'm super talented and not meant to follow the already destined to fail system. So Please... If you so choose... TELL ME MORE!!! <3 Cheers!

Agreed! Iv'e always felt that there was something "wrong" with the world and that I am here to change something. for so Long I didn't understand quite what it was or what I was here to do. As I learned about the matrix system and my perceptions changed, so did my sense of purpose. I know that I have superpowers and am here to use them to change the world for the better! I also know there are forces opposed to this that protect the system. this is why we need to form tribes and use our collective powers to make this change happen! We are powerful beyond belief, this is why the system is designed to keep us separated and fight with one another. Steemit is such a powerful platform to connect people, I feel like there's something very different about it, which is one of the main reasons why i'm here. This project, i'm interested in knowing more. Thank you for posting @stellabelle

Truth! Steem unlocks the potential for anybody to turn their "superpower" into real income, and thus enabling them to spend even more time on their passions.

Its an upward cycle that makes us all better people. You said it!!

Hey @stellabelle,
Thats the kind of post I have been yearning to write for sometime now. Its been brewing in my mind. Freedom is fun. That moment when you don't give a freaking fucks about what anyone does or doen't think about you.

You live your life. You see clearly. You think on your own. You become who you wanna be. You use your God-given SUPERPOWERS and change the world for good.

Since I came to Steemit, I have had that feeling of total freedom. I for one have just recently graduated from the university and made my way through National Service. After that, its been one call after another about "submit your Cv here or there". "Hey George, Why not take this job? Why not take that job? Your colleagues have done it this way..." and other B.S.

I just look at them and smile for they have no clue where I am right now nor do they even understand where I'm going to...I don't wnat to waste my time doing the explanations. They will see my life unfold...and it will be so cool ....that they would want in too.

This same drive for societal change is also my motivating factor just like you. I have created a world for health-professionals, health-enthusiasts, and clients to connect. Together with my core team, @AIR-CLINIC has been on a flight. Its been an amazing experience for me.

ANyway, lemme not bore you much. Cheers To freedom!

Yes, sounds like you're out of the Matrix. Congrats.

Great article, everyone should pursue their passion or whatever makes them happy. Become an expert or creator and share it with the world! Steemit is the perfect platform to share your work, if people value it, your value goes up, simple as that.

Currently I'm working a job I don't love, but it provides for me while I am picking up the skills and working towards creating quality content to share with people. Hope to get some of my writing formatted and posted here soon.

Thanks for posting @stellabelle

Soo good and inspiring article stella thank you!

This is inspiring and motivating. precious than Gold or 💎.
Thanks man, hoping for more.

Hi @stellabelle, my family is the symbol of modern times:

  • I'm an indipendent trader
  • My wife is a photographer and works for microstocks
  • Now i'm interested in growing in steemit too...

We both work at home, we decide our own routine... we feel free!

I'm still trying to figure out what my super power is. Hopfully some day soon I will. Being free would be a dream come true!!

Freedom is a state of mind. Choose freedom, choose life, it can be done at any time.

But it requires some real guts.

the world would be better if we all had guts to think.

I absolutely agree @stellabelle
I look forward to quitting my day job using both the steemit platform and few other side investments.

I"m not encouraging anyone to quit their day job! I needed to be clearer on this, because if you don't have a social group which is stable, it won't work well.....I need to write a part 2....about how to create or help build a community first before anything like quitting a job happens.

Yes, but I am encouraging people to do so once they are ready to do that. One of the signs of being ready is when people have steady income coming from their investments that cover their basic expenses. I promote entrepreneurship all the way.

Yes, well that is a different thing altogether. I don't want people who are barely scraping by to quit their jobs! Keeping one's income steady, and building something on the side is the ideal way. I wrote my entire book while working at a Toyota Dealership. To quit that job to be a "writer" would have been suicide.

What's the title of that book? Is it on amazon? I would like to read it.

I hardly ever pimp it, but for me, it was the turning point, when I chose myself, and realized I will never be happy until i free myself from wage slavery.

Great. I have the same philosophy. I'll get your book and read it and follow your work here. Thanks Stellabelle.

My upvote just paid for you to buy my e-book! :)

Thank you very much for that. I really appreciate it. I'll get the book and read it and will share with you my thoughts on it. I finished writing my first book and will be published in few weeks. I called it: "Starting the Startup". I'll let you know once its published and send you a gift copy :)

From experience, I totally agree that you should not quit your job until you have securely replaced you job income with your entrepreneurial income, as it puts too much pressure on you to perform. I thoroughly enjoyed your post. Thank you.

Is Planet Steem an actual platform, or a cool name for our little rockin' community?

I work in IT and in about 6 months my project will be over... due to visas, locations and other complications, I'm really not sure what my future will hold in June 2018, so I'm pushing hard to make Planet Steem my full time job so that in 6 months it can be my actual job and I can earn a monthly wage from it. I don't need much to live, but with the sort of work I do, there are no part-time jobs, it's all or nothing... and the all requires a heap of travel and all my time.

We'll see how it goes, but your advice here is exactly the direction I want to go... and I want to escape the matrix.... the story of which will be documented right here on the platform that allowed it.

this line of thinking is flawed:

my actual job and I can earn a monthly wage from it

This is not what my post is about. It's about finding your superpower and utlilizing it for the benefit of others. IF you try to turn Planet Steem into a "wage" idea, this won't end well.

Planet Steem is the shared blockchain that all the different sites use (Steemit, Busy, Dmania, Dtube, Dsound, Zappl). Steemit is only one website that uses the Steem blockchain. Planet Steem encompasses all these sites, and all these communities, global ones.....

I see Planet Steem growing with only more sub communities. Wait until gamers adopt Dlive. The good news, niche interests now have a chance and we see rise of the indie!

Thanks for the excellent post.

When I use the word, "Community", I am referring to the clearly laid out sub tribes in Planet Steem. For example, Utopian is one, Minnow Support Project is another, Slothicorn is another. There are Korean art communities, and ones in Nigeria........Each distinct community has its own code of ethics, social rules, etc. Business Intelligence community is yet another...

If you are trying to find a wage in Steemit, I would suggest you ask the whales what they need done in Planet Steem. That is something that very few people even do, and no one has yet asked me what I need help with. This is one of the most shocking things actually.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I understood the different between Steemit the platform and the Steem blockchain that has a number of other interfaces... I didn't know that the landscape was called Planet Steem, that's a super cool name.

I am personally trying to build the Ninja Warrior/OCR community on Steemit. The community is huge on other platforms (Instagram primarily, but also Facebook) but Steem is perfect for actually going into depth about training techniques, competition results, etc. This is the community I'm very excited about and one that I think could adopt this platform in a big way. The TV shows often are the highest rating shows in that country.

I don't quite understand why trying to draw a wage from Steem is the wrong approach though, I understand that the more Steem I hold the better for my community... but if I can spend 40 hours a week on it and not work a 'proper' job wouldn't that be best?

I'd love to help the whales out... I just don't really know how to go about asking... Whales seem to get a trillion comments and I honestly wasn't sure those comments were read (again, thank you so much for replying so thoughtfully).

I would love nothing more to find someone that would need my help...

I hope so.

I crave freedom too. I think everyone should be free to choose some things in life and freedom comes first for me. Your imagination is an awesome asset; the mind is everything, what you think you become.

i hope people do realize that i lucked out because i found Steemit before anyone else. But, if you look closely, there are others who found Steemit when i did, but didn't fare as well. I gave up my day jobs instantly, and I often wonder how i would operate if i found steemit right now, when the payouts are smaller.....hmmmm.

I'm sure your passion to be free would have driven your imagination to create some things having made a sacrifice (leaving a day job) for it.

Yeah, @papa-pepper tried an experiment early on, by posting another kind of content under a different account. It was a lot harder to duplicate his earlier success. He eventually ended the experiment and expanded his own posting topics rather than keep the two separate accounts. Even with effort, timing does count. But without the effort, the results are sure - just not in the right direction.

Even for folks just finding Steemit, there is still opportunity. We see some folks really rise if the topics, their voice, their sociability, and work ethic all line up. But connections to folks with power, right from the start, seem to have an outsized impact. That's the same as it ever was, and is a product of chance as much as anything else. Best of fortune with your planned project in 2018.

Great luck

I really liked your reference to us all having a superpower. It could give quite a mental shift to our personal realities, and our possible places within society (aka not having to follow certain paths because they're expected of us).

The next step would be to integrate this way of thinking into how we bring up the next generation - or are they already way ahead of us?

lol i have been stay at home dad caring for my 25 year old autistic daughter while my wife works as a substitute teacher. i felt like nothing more than a burden then i stumbled across a video on youtube about steemit.com.
i now treat steem as a full time job and i have discovered one of my superpowers.
shitposting! yes that right along with being an artist and blogger i am a shitposter! i make memes and i love it! i guess i'm part of the Dmania tribe. having fun posting jokes, memes, art, poetry and a few actual articles and short stories. guys i'm hooked and i'm here till the end!

Good post, i like, thanks,, :)

Be the Dream you want to see in the World! Or something to that effect.

I think my Super Power is to have vivid imagination but to be able to still look at things pragmatically enough to get the best out of what I am doing. There's something to be said for accomplishing your dreams, but doing it at a pace that means you never go hungry. ;-)

I failed at 4 businesses, right in a row. I tried so many fucking jobs, it's unreal

Like I always tell people; "you're not a failure because you failed, but when you refuse to get back up". Clearly, steemit showed you that those set backs were not actually failures, but a springboard to soar new heights.

I enjoyed reading your post and liked the way you described our new planet :) I really want to be free and want it badly lol

I do believe online communities will be the new way of online interaction, hopefully with steemit leading the way.

It’s awesome to find like minded people all engaging and being rewarded for it.

Ps: I am interested in the project you mentioned, how could I get involve in that? Please let me know, I am a new user but if you check my profile you can see I am very active and my plan is to dedicate my time to steemit mostly.

Thanks

the world will definitely be a better place if everyone sees things the way we do.
people need to let go of the so called societal norms that hinder them and BREAK FREE.!!!!!!
everyone needs to know that there's that something special in them and they need to utilize it to their advantage.

and regards your 2018 project i'm definitely interested and ready to help

If you don't know what your superpower(s) is, you're going to lose out to someone who does know. Passion wins the game. They don't teach you this in school, but I know it's true. I've lived this. You might not succeed today, while that asshole does, but if you quietly work, with determination, and passion, and the thing you're working on fits into your superpower wheelhouse, you will win eventually. Or even if you fail, you will be much wiser than when you started.

This alone is enough for me tonight. This is undoubtedly my word for today or even my word for December. Bookmarking this post. In it is so encouraging to curb laziness and to unleash the superpower in me.
Off to ruminate on my ideas.
Freedom from the faulty systems and its relating laziness.
I believe laziness steps in when we don't use our ideas.
Have got the power
Thanks Stella

Pure imagination is possible. Freedom is possible. This begins a new version of the 'chicken or the egg' question. One begets the other. In this case... imagination comes first.
I now work with Steemit exclusively (long story)... Tell me your project. I will help if I am able to contribute.

Use of Robot will certainly lead to some job loss. Nice post. I follow and upvote.

I think everyone here has superpowers even if they don't think they do... their stimulating someone else with their content and expanding eachothers minds ever day! i think it's amazing!!!

I think that's so true too! And when you do this type of thing with a great community around you, it helps you to grow and develop those superpowers better! It's always nice to have that as a listening ear or someone to help problem solve! I don't know how many times I've asked @jasonrussell for help figuring out complicated issues or the others in our local Steemit community about ideas and how to make them work!

you are right about this as everyone needs to find his passion and fit in to what they can do most, or else some who knows his way come to do it better, i can relate to this most,
I'm a Rapper who has released about 2 E.ps but like you said developers adopted the platform earlier during steemit development era and still. much in development and they weren't much artist or artiste then this makes it more difficult for most minnows like us with some skillz to glow as it is easier for a minnows who got that developing skillz can gain more visibilty if their code is merged with the projects,

i have tried several ways to be useful to this community as i tried as much as possible to give in all i got, i know i heard about steemit not too late and not too early as i joined october,
far so good i have been so much to this platfirm and its community,
also don't want to be left out i tried contributing my own ideas through the utopian-io platform (though i was happy a contribution of mine was implemented this week)

Trying to grow and show all steemians that i can be more than what i am,
i also joined the openmic community every week in order to support the platform of the steemit artiste cause i believ oneday when steemit is out of the beta phase, entertainment might be the major role the platform may be (my predictions)

and i believe i can do more,
like @techslut said i too I'm always active of about more than 17hours daily , and also guiding newbies and promting steemit on telegram and in Nigerian through the platform @Airhawkproject,

@stellebelle i would say you have tried more in thkse failed job of yours you mentioned , owhat you should know is that those jobs were setting you up for greatness here,
you have really carved a niche for your self here, what about if i say The wolf of steemit is my Role model many will say I'm too hyperbolic lolx
but that might be the truth,

well i don't want to say i failed in music cause i still have a long way to go,
the future have alot to say about that,

and as steemit is here to stay for good,
so we are here following her footsteps.

Good day @stellabelle.

I actually agree with you...I think technological unemployment is a great thing. There are so many bs jobs out there. The last two decades witness, the US at least, create jobs simply for the sake of creating jobs. They are low-end, terrible paying, mind numbing experiences for all who are involved in them. They really do need to be automated out.

Of course, the bankster run system cant allow this. They need to give the masses a bit of money (and even more credit) to keep spending so their numbers on Wall Street look good which gives more of the pie to them.

I have been tossing around in my head the idea of STEEM as a form of a basic income and what that would look like in terms of the numbers. It is possible yet the price gets up there quickly. Of course, this is crypto so something getting up there isnt foreign. Plus, when we take away from the banksters, the means we might not be talking such a large net.

I agree that STEEM is going to change the world This is a sensational opportunity for people who are involved in this blockchain right now.

Thanks for that!!
I think one of my superpowers is my skill in maths and programming. Yesterday I posted the reward system of steemit explaining all formulas involved. I think this is unique, and it is one of my passions, then I have to continue with it!! :)

You might not succeed today, while that asshole does, but if you quietly work, with determination, and passion, and the thing you're working on fits into your superpower wheelhouse, you will win eventually. Or even if you fail, you will be much wiser than when you started.
I loved these words. I left my job in April, started my own online digital marketing trining center but it failed. Had no money to feed my family, I returned to that slavery and since then, I have been working with some coding stuff. Learned HTML, CSS and currently working on Javascript. At the age of 30, I took this decision to make myself a self-made man, not a slave and I know I'll be successful beacuse I know I am playing with something I have always loved in my life!

I want to thank you for the resteem of @w0olf and his design a character, some very cool work being done there, but because of that I found a new user, (only a few days old), that seems to have a great sense of humor, @winniethepoor.
His introduction post Artist and Humorist, so just thought I would share the find with you. Of course I can always edit post if you view this as spam, which I think you won't.

And yeah, one of my minor superpowers is finding and sharing things.

do you realize what all cryptocurrencies would disappear in one moment and Steem is not an exclusion?
All hard made Steem money/users time will crash suddenly, for nothing and forever.

Steemit is really a community that enables people get out of slavery....yes slavery.

I have done 3 businesses and failed and never gave up....I have realized Steemit is for folks who want freedom, who want to escape the slavery.

It's only such folks who have been searching for a better way, who understand, stick and succeed on Steemit.

Its only such guys who have passion who won.

You might not succeed today, while that asshole does, but if you quietly work, with determination, and passion, and the thing you're working on fits into your superpower wheelhouse, you will win eventually.

It's really hard to get out of the slavery, but trying to get out is worth it.

I had a job for almost 2 years but it sucked and I was enslaved and quitting the job was a big risk, but worth it.

I am on my way to freedom and with the help of Steemit I will reach and also impact more lives here in Uganda by showing it to many Ugandans.

Thanks for this insightful post...let us continue changing the world by showing them the potential of Steemit.
